Kids Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. This is being achieved by getting volunteers involved, and by setting up food packaging satellites in the USA, and through partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide - enabling Kids Against Hunger to deliver its specially formulated rice-soy casserole to starving children and their families in more than 40 countries. The Kids Against Hunger network currently includes over 30 food packaging satellites across the United States and one in Canada.

40,000 children die every day from:
  • Malnutrition
  • Starvation
  • Hunger-related diseases
So what's the solution?

The solution is a revolutionary food package that has been developed by some of the
world's leading food scientists at Cargill, Pillsbury, General Mills and ADM. This one package provides six nutritionally-complete servings to feed starving children around the world as well as the hungry here at home, and all for the low cost of 23 cents per serving.

This is the solution to stopping death by starvation:

"As simple as it sounds, food is essential in the global fight against HIV and AIDS. Nutritious food can prolong the lives of people suffering with HIV and AIDS. Food and good nutrition can also allow them to continue to earn income and feed their families."  from the United Nations World Food Program website

"More than 840 million people in the world are malnourished - 799 million of them are from the developing world. More than 153 million of them are under the age of five. 6 million children under the age of 5 die every year as a result of hunger." from the Bread for the World Institute website

"I usually turn the channel when I see commercials about starving children. It makes me too sad. But something about what you're doing touched me and I want to help. I'm only 16 but I think that I have to do something. I have to help these starving children." Emily A., a sixteen-year-old girl in Oklahoma

"When you feed a child, you feed our future." Richard Proudfit, Founder of Kids Against Hunger
